ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Ronald J. Borkowicz, Ph.D. has been a nationally recognized authority on Healthy Lifestyles and Wellness Promotion since the 1990s. As a university professor, in addition to teaching future Athletic Trainers, Personal Trainers and Physical Therapists, he also created some of the courses that were required for these degrees. In his Masters Degree, Dr. Borkowicz specialized in Exercise Biomechanics along with Educational Program Development. His Ph.D. Degree was focused on Exercise Physiology and Allied Health. Borkowicz’s post-Doctoral work specialized in creating educational programs which help to prevent health problems rather than treating them after-the-fact. He also earned national certifications in the areas of Health-Fitness Specialist, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Personal Trainer, Health Promotions Director, etc. Borkowicz has trained a variety of populations from high school students to senior citizens. He also served as a strength coach for professional athletes. Borkowicz owns over two-dozen Registered Trademarks, National Disclosure Documents and Copyrights on various pieces of Exercise Equipment and Exercise-Wellness Programs he invented.
